Puppy Bowl: behind the scenes

I read they used catnip to get the cats worked up for the Puppy Bowl. Isn’t that a performance enhancing drug? Will the cats be banned from the sport for life? It begins Sunday at 3 p.m., coinciding with the Super Bowl.
